Everglades Rat Snake (Pantherophis obsoletus rossalleni)

"Everglades" form. Very interesting, active and curious snake, also very tame and interactive. Likes to perch and watch activity in the room. He's was a sporadic feeder but has become really solid lately. Definitely the most interactive snake I have. A real prize winner!

Jan. 3rd, 2008 - About 1 1/2 years old here. A slow starter.

Dec. 7th, 2008 - Loves to perch.

Mar. 14th, 2010 - Shaking up with Tomi...not good, just happened.

Mar. 27th, 2010 - Like any rat snake, he loves to climb. He's been up here on top of the drapes before, but I never see how he gets up there? He was up there for a couple days and I even fed him a mouse while there. Funny thing is, he's a major clutz and falls on a regular basis.

  

Feb. 5th 2011 - Unassisted!
